1. Create a Light Mode and Dark Mode of the portal.
We believe that customization is key to a seamless user experience. That's why we're thrilled to introduce “Light Mode” and “Dark Mode” options within the inefi Spotlight portal. With these two distinct themes, users can tailor their experience based on their preferences and working environments. Whether it's the sleek elegance of Dark Mode or the refreshing clarity of Light Mode, inefi Spotlight adapts to your style, ensuring optimal comfort and productivity.
2. One-Click unenroll in "Enrolled" tab of device list.
Sometimes, certain devices have been registered in Spotlight but have never sent any data to the Spotlight cloud due to possible operational reasons. In principle, all devices should be monitored. However, given the limited number of licenses, we understand that customers want to maximize efficiency in allocating each license and monitoring the device fleet. Therefore, we have added an One-Click unenroll feature to the Enrolled page of the device list. This not only allows users to adjust the monitored device list more effectively but also helps reconcile the counts between "device quantity" and "license usage.”
3. Create an Active Management tab in device list.
Efficiency and clarity are paramount when managing a vast array of endpoint devices. To enhance usability, we've introduced the Active Management Tab within the device list. This intuitive feature allows users to effortlessly distinguish between “Normal” and “Active Management” devices*, facilitating more informed decision-making and expedited troubleshooting. With the Active Management Tab, managing your endpoint infrastructure has never been more straightforward.

4. Create a new "Support By" column in device list.
The inefi Active Management solution serves as your indispensable tool for managing system crashes, particularly when your device becomes unresponsive and falls into an unknown state. This solution is adept at identifying system crashes caused by either hardware or software issues, enabling you to take necessary actions such as powering on or off, accessing KVM, initiating BIOS recovery, and more. Presently, the inefi Active Management solution comes in two versions: Intel® vPro™ and partner's Out-of-Band solution. These versions offer slightly different features, and to facilitate easier identification, we have introduced a new "support by" column.
5. Create a "Connected Mode" in device list and dashboard.
At inefi, we're committed to empowering proactive maintenance strategies to ensure uninterrupted business operations. Building upon the success of our previous dashboard features, we're thrilled to unveil the revolutionary "Connected Mode" within inefi Spotlight. This enhanced dashboard functionality offers two distinct modes: Normal Mode and Active Management Mode.
In Normal Mode, customers can rest assured knowing that their devices are operating smoothly. However, should a device encounter issues or disruptions, it seamlessly transitions into Active Management Mode. Here, users gain access to an arsenal of powerful tools, including Intel® vPro and Out-of-Band solutions enabled by the partner. Whether it's performing remote power and command operations, BIOS recovery, or OS backup, inefi Spotlight empowers users to swiftly resolve issues and restore normalcy.
With Connected Mode, proactive maintenance isn't just a concept—it's a reality. By combining advanced monitoring capabilities with actionable insights, inefi Spotlight equips enterprises with the tools they need to stay ahead of potential disruptions and maintain peak operational efficiency.
6. Create an icon in device detail for vPro supported device.
To facilitate our users in identifying devices that support Intel® AMT from a large fleet of devices, we have made updates on the device detail page as well. If your device is equipped with Intel® AMT functionality and has been registered in inefi Spotlight, you can find a small card for Intel® AMT on the device detail page, providing information about its version. Additionally, by default, the device detail page will display the "default Intel® AMT profile.”
7. Create an explanation hover for the pie chart of Dashboard
In our inefi Spotlight dashboard, you’ll find four pie charts, showing Operating System, Device Status, Connected Mode, and Connected State, respectively. In the latest update, we've introduced explanation hovers for each pie chart title. These hovers not only define the purpose of the pie chart but also enumerate all possible elements displayed within it. This enhancement aims to make the dashboard more user-friendly, especially for beginners who are new to using inefi Spotlight, reducing confusion and improving usability.
